Slides don't save lives

But you do, and this course will teach you how to tell that story—that pitch. Are you ready to become a better version of yourself?

Unlocking the storyteller

Everyone is a storyteller, some might be good at it, a few understand i’ts more than a soft-skill, it’s a must skill and only a handful of medical doctors and researchers will learn that more than storytelling, it’s story writing. Welcome to the Story Pitcher.

This live cohort will teach you how to harness the power of writing, storytelling, words. Unlock your inner ability to bring your work to more people, achieve more, save more lives.

We are all storytellers, but only a few train to become great.

And you, my friend, can become better;
trust us, we trained the best.

WHY NOW?

It’s important to have a compelling story now more than ever. Differentiate yourself by sharing a story that truly connects with your audience. By doing so, you can make a meaningful impact not only on your colleagues but also on the lives of your patients and others. A powerful story has the potential to be remembered and to make a real difference. A 60-slide IMRAD presentation won’t save lives, but a story backed by research can.

Stop answering:
“yeah, I think it went well”
and move to:
It went exactly as planned.

Unlock your potential

This is not your typical story-to-stage or pitch-like-a-master type of course. This is for doctors ready to learn how to harness storytelling techniques in everyday work and life, starting from your next talk. This course is specifically designed for doctors about to take the stage for the first time in a new way.

THE PROCESS

This is how we build storytellers, Through habits

Six weeks, two sessions every week, we learn, we practice, we pitch, we write, we edit, we improve, we repeat.

Each week will consist of a one hour session, mostly an interactive session, where Nir will present the concepts of the methodology.

The second session will be practice and questions. This session will be a 90 min chance to present, edit and learn everything we did the past week, improving individual projects each participant is working on.

Now we focus on you, your ability to tell a good story, to measure what a good story looks like, how it sounds.

We will define the difference between verbal and written, and explore why writing is crucial.

WEEK 4

The ingredients

Time to learn how good storytelling works; what is needed and how much of each to ensure our stories resonate. Yes, these are KPI’s for storytelling.

WEEK 5

The framework

It is time to put everything into place. The structure, the hook, the paragraphs, the ending. We will discuss how to build and construct a good story.
